A trip to Calvary Mount, Idukki

Life is about finding peace and happiness. It's true that the beauty of nature can heal your inner wounds.
Me and my friends Ajay, Aaron and Antony decided to go for a day trip to Calvary mount, Idukki on 27 December 2019. We started our trip from chalakudy at 7.00 am. We reached at Calvary mount by 11:30 am. The viewpoint of Calvary Mount  stands on the highway of Thodupuzha- Puliyanmala near the Thankamani junction.

Calvary Mount offers an aerial view of Idukki reservoir and the surrounding peaks and forests. It gives us a mesmerizing sight of the wide blue expanse of the reservoir between the Kuruvan and Kuruvathi hills and the Idukki arch dam . The breathtaking view, cool breeze, low hung clouds will make your day better. The beauty of Western Ghats and the serenity of nature is evident in this place.

The way to the hilltop from view point is very steep and require some attention. It is possible for bikes and cars to reach the view point. Large vehicles are not allowed to reach the top and has to be parked down hill.

Exploring these locations serves as a vivid reminder of the divine artistic brilliance and boundless creativity imbued within our world. Just as our insatiable curiosity, unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and eternal quest for serenity persist without end, I eagerly anticipate our continued journey together. 😎🌍✨
